Discover Tasmania Zoo!

Nestled in the foothills of the Tamar Valley, 18 kms from the CBD of Launceston, you will find Tasmania Zoo, the largest wildlife park in Tasmania.

Tasmania Zoo is situated in 900 acres of private native bushland and is home to the largest collection of native and exotic animals in Tasmania. We have over 80 species of birds, Tasmanian devils, penguins, crocodiles, wombats, echidna's, kangaroos, quolls, reptiles, monkeys and much more.

While holidaying in Tasmania you can experience Tasmanian Devils up close and personal during our feeding and interpretation times every day.

Wallaby

Watch the Tasmanian Devils feed at 10:30 am, 1.00 pm and 3:30 pm followed by a devil pat of one of our younger devils.

Also the Little Blue Penguin feeding and interpretation at 10.00am and 4.00pm daily.
